A Corporate Fixed Deposit is an investment mode, wherein an investor can invest a certain amount of money with a corporate firm for a fixed period (Tenure). In return, the firm will guarantee a fixed return (Interest) to the investor which will be paid to the investor periodically during the tenure or at the end of the tenure as per the terms and conditions. At the end of the fixed period (Tenure), the original amount of money which the investor had invested would be returned by the firm.
A Corporate Fixed Deposit is considered a safe & a simple mode of investment. However, it is typically considered to be slightly riskier as compared to Bank Fixed Deposits.
